I went to my first ever hockey game last night. A friend called out of the blue to inform me that they had an extra ticket for the Steelheads and of course I took the offer. I had a blast! I really do enjoy pretty much all sports when I can go and see them live and in person. I think I just really like the atmosphere, the cheering, the food, and the music. I can't say that I was immediately hooked to hockey in particular, but I could definitely go again just for all of that atmosphere (and amazingly it wasn't as aggressive as I always picture hockey to be -- I was almost disappointed!). Plus, “we” won!
